In addition to the museum, our Learning Center is
staffed by a loyal and knowledgeable group of volunteers
and houses an outstanding collection of rocks, fossils
and minerals from around the world representing a
timeline of prehistory fill display cabinets. Wall art
depicts the earth as it may have appeared at various
times in the past.
The museum
has been very fortunate to receive a gift of 12,000
Physogaleus contortus teeth which are being
displayed to explain the rate of tooth loss and growth
in sharks. Be sure to check it out when you visit.
